Community Volunteer Income Tax Clinic – Runs March and April
Partnering with Revenue Canada, Community and Family Services offers a free income tax clinic during tax season, available to low income families and individuals. The clinic is a drop-off service only and completing returns for 2017 only.
We provide diapers, formula and baby food to families with babies who have need of these items as supplies are available.
Mission Store Vouchers
Vouchers are available for clothing and small household items. To receive a voucher, visit our office with identification, proof of income and address.
We are very pleased to have a partnership with local chiropractors who offer a free clinic on Fridays from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. This program works on a first-come first-serve basis. Sign in is in the Community And Family Services department on Fridays at 11am.
Work Boots Program
Together with Mark’s Work Warehouse, safety work boots are provided to help individuals secure and maintain employment. A letter from the employer stating the need for safety boots, identification and proof of income and address is required.
If you are looking for a loved one, The Salvation Army can help reunite families through this service.

The Salvation Army makes every effort to assist individuals and families who come to us for help. However, sometimes we are unable to provide what is required and we will then make referrals to other agencies in the area that may assist.
