COVID-19 UPDATE

With the recent evolving concerns regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), The Centre of Hope has suspended community groups/clinics below until further notice.

 

  • Chiropractic Clinic
  • Healthy Homes Sports
  • Community Chapel
  • Peer Support Group
  • Meetings in the Chapel
  • The Housing Stability Bank Outreach Services at Libraries

 

** Our Food Bank is OPEN during regular hours, but due to temporary Covid-19 precautions, customers will receive service outside the back Food Bank doors. Dress warmly and expect wait times. Food will be distributed using pre-packaged boxes.** 

These measures have been taken to protect the clients, volunteers, community and staff of The Centre of Hope in hopes of keeping everyone healthy.

 

If you are scheduled or plan to attend the Centre of Hope for our Housing Stability Bank or Food Bank, please self-screen yourself before attending. If you answer yes to any of the below screening questions, we ask that you stay home and reschedule your visit. If assistance is needed please contact The Centre of Hope at 519-661-0343 and we will do our best to support you.

Covid-19 Screening for all Centre of Hope Visitors:

  1. Do you have any of the following new or worsening symptoms or signs? Fever or chills, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, cough, sore threat, trouble swallowing, runny nose/stuffy nose or nasal congestion, decrease or loss of smell or taste, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, not feeling well, extreme tiredness, sore muscles.
  2. Have you or anyone in your household had close contact with someone who has a probably or confirmed case of covid-19 in the past 14 days?
  3. Have you or someone in your household returned from travel outside Canada in the past 14 days?

Withdrawal Management

Entry point into the addiction treatment, providing 24-hour welcoming environment to assist with substance use crisis.

Emergency Shelter

Emergency, short term, and transitional housing for homeless men, women, and youth.

Recovery Community Centre

A holistic approach to anyone in the community primarily seeking recovery from substance use but who may also be experiencing mental health instability and/or may act out in responsive ways.

Community & Family Services

Food Bank, Thrift Store vouchers, Chiropractic Clinic, Baby Assistance, Spiritual Care, etc.

Housing Stability Bank

Interest-free loans to Londoners with low income to obtain and retain their housing and for those at risk of homelessness to remain housed.
