Canstruction® is a unique, international event engaging designers, architects and engineers to use their talents to help those struggling with food insecurity. The event raises funds, food and awareness for local food banks.

Teams design and build giant structures made entirely out of non-perishable items. At the end of the exhibitions, the structures are judged, winners are awarded and all of the food is donated to The Salvation Army’s Basic Needs Program (tax receipt issued with submission of original receipt).

The event will run: September 23 – October 3 at White Oaks Mall.

  • July 15 – Initial design concept due
  • September 1 – Final design due, Certificate of Insurance due, team sign info due

Registration Fee – $25 (waived in 2022)
